Just caught up with the last episode - brutal finish, but really well made show.
I agree; definitely check out Breaking Bad if you haven't yet.

Breaking Bad is definitely on my to watch list - I have the first season torrented and burnt, just haven't got round to it yet.
Where do you think the Merle story is going in TWD. The TV show is supposed to roughly follow the comic books with a few detours, but Merle wasn't in the comics and it seems like they are setting him up to be important in the show. Think his brother's character (the crossbow dude) is very good.

Good question. I wouldn't be surprised if Merle kidnaps the main dude's wife and kid to get back at him for lockin' him up and leaving behind on the roof top.
There's only 2 episodes left in the season though, and cliffhangers are probably AMC's favorite writing technique, so it's entirely possible we wont even see Merle again until the last minute or so of the season finale in some way.
Definitely add HBO's Six Feet Under to your torrent list too if you've never seen it
