Oh, it's definitely a car crash, but a hugely enjoyable one at that. Definitely a movie so bad it's kinda' good.
One doesn't need to see The Room before watching The Disaster Artist, but it certainly enriches the experience.

What saved him from such a fate is he always knew he had the reunion card to pull if things ever got desperate. If god forbid Slash had died at some point in the last twenty years, it would've had a huge impact on how he approached his career.

General consensus seems to be an AFD remaster/boxset and/or Izzy and Steven back for a reunion tour of the AFD 5.

Ha! Ha! I feel that way every day, but that's all this is - a little static to make you salivate over what might be coming. There's a countdown, as well - at this moment 1 day 17 hours 20 minutes and 51 seconds. Some say it's better when you open it on your phone.....but I don't get it (how to use it on my phone) so I feel old too.
Like AMM said, consensus seems to be a remaster/deluxe AFD. Seriously doubt it means any full reunion. Or it could be a GNR radio station. We'll find out in a another day, huh? Seriously - I'd be most excited by some new music for god's sakes.
