Russia says China refuses to supply aircraft parts after sanctions

https://www.reuters....ons-2022-03-10/

China should learn from this.  The West CAN grind you down economically...China would be harder, but they have more to lose and so much to gain by NOT being like Russia.

It would be painful for the West, but catastrophic for them. I think they recognize this.

My greatest concern is that Russia escalates this when it starts to get really painful for them. Hell, it was sanctions that finally got us into WW2, and mobilization of various opposing countries that started WW1. Both of those scenarios are happening, now.

very fair assessment...Nukes didn't exist then, so the scenario is massively different

Appears that Ukraine has sunk the Moskva. It was the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet. That is pretty damn impressive considering the weapon system that was probably used was even supposed to be operational until next month. Russia is claiming it was a fire, and I guess, in a way, it was a fire.

Info on the likely system that did the work(also appears that whoever wrote that article was spot on, since it appears that a drone was also used to confuse Russian anti-missile systems). https://www.forbes.c...sh=5f0d33cd39c7

Video of a test of the Ukrainian missile system that killed the ship. Notice how it skims the water.

Russian Conscripts Killed Commander And Handed Arms To AFU Near Kherson

The officer prevented them from surrendering to the Ukrainian army.

A large group of partially mobilized Russians surrendered to Ukrainian defenders in the Kherson region. All the occupants were transferred to one of the hot spots of the front without training, equipment and with an order to stand to the end.
