I daresay he's still an amateur.

Today I saw a young guy a the gym with a Reagan/Bush '84 tank tee on. Thought it was pretty funny. I'm sure the girls all want to bang him too.

That was when my first wife realized that we weren't compatible.

Yesterday our friend who lives a few miles away from us, felt the earthquake. Her lights were swinging. We thought it was weird, because we didn't feel a thing.

Today it hit again. I was at the store and everything started swaying. Not gonna lie, it freaked me the fuck out.  The check out guy said I got some good air when I ran out the doors. So I've got that going for me.

We've only had two earthquakes here in my lifetime that have been noticeable.  One was about 10 years ago, in the early morning light.  It woke me but in my sleep deluded state I wondered why a herd of small creatures was stampeding under my bed.

Ha! I remember that... think I was posting at the old TFHL when it occurred. Had a vaulted ceiling with wood paneling nailed to the rafters. Rattled the shit out of them.

After all these years, I learned that the secret to a good martini is a vermouth rinse.

Wish I could convince my dentist of the need for a vermouth rinse.

^^^ Well, apparently, you also have to "shake it" for 10 seconds. Now, I don't know about you, but where I come from, that means you are playing with it. I didn't have the heart to explain that that wasn't acceptable in polite company.

For TAP, I present the following article:

https://lithub.com/3...t-bloody-stand/

Someone is clearly feeling put out over the decline of the former British empire...

...though I do agree with many of these.

25 and 37 annoy me. But I'd imagine the vast majority of Brits don't care, and many are used regularly here (I am here right now in UK)
