[Its Cousin]

Went to see Skid Row and Buckcherry last night.

Seems like I saw them with Bon Jovi(or maybe it was with Cinderella???) in the late 80s. I remember they put on a hell of a show, back then. And, seeing Cinderella, back then, made me a fan.

Skid Row were AMAZING!!!!!  I was skeptical with a new singer, but he completely kills it.  Sounds as good live as Bach did on the albums, is a very good approximation of Baz's voice and can completely pull it off.  I was blown away by this guy.  Legit rock star, the crowd was eating out of his hands the whole show.  Oh, and the set was tits.  Two new songs, otherwise they didn't leave the first two albums.  GO TO THIS SHOW.  If you kinda like Skid Row, go.  If you Skid Row is your favorite band and you are wary...GO! 

 

 

I love their new album, it's killer. It sounds like it would be the next album after Slave to the Grind. He's got the pipes for sure and can really let it rip. I had discovered him with HEAT a few years prior and loved him there too. 

 

They are coming here this summer I think and I really want to see them. My only problem is that I think I've developed tinnitus and can't handle loud music in my car right now, much less a concert. Hoping it goes away.

I saw Skid Row open for GnR for the UYI tour and thought they stole the show. It also didn't help that GnR were singing new songs and had not released the albums yet.

^^^ forgot I’d seen them on that tour. It was a couple of days before the St. Louis riot.

It's a bit less dark than Skid Row was on STTG.  Like Skid Row mixed with Scorpions, IMO

Skid Row opened for Bon Jovi on the New Jersey tour. Saw it in Chicago - that was the last time I saw Bon Jovi.

They were great on the SWW tour, and also saw them at donington before that, also good. But NJ tour was meh
