Here's a question. If you have no symptoms, should you get tested? (assuming they were easily accessible.)

I kind of think you should. Just as a public responsibility.

Thoughts?

If they were easily accessible, yes. Otherwise stay the fuck away from there.

It's interesting comparing Italy data (where they test the sick) and South Korea data (where they are testing much more people). SK shows a lot of young people with it who I guess just don't really show symptoms, whereas Italy skews much older because they're testing sick people. Which is very strong evidence for social distancing and closing the schools and colleges.

Just moved my oldest son home from college as Coronageddon cancelled classes in person for the rest of the semester. My daughter's high school closed for a month. Wife's work shutting down for a week.

Doubt things will be opening for three months at least. How about you, home?

My daughter's school is still open for now. Not sure how I feel about that.

I've had 3 clients/customers cancel trips this week already, one just this morning. One lead told me they see a buying opportunity when the market tanks (ok great for you I guess.)

MGM grand (is the first) to cut down a great deal of their operations as some of their staff has tested positive for the virus.

I'm asking the Missus to maybe hold off on the gym for a while, since it's a highly infectious place to begin with, but she doesn't seem concerned. Her plane and Disneyworld trip was actually canceled by her Mom, then of course Disney closed. So I won on that one.

I'm going to stop shaking hands, and avoid the buffets which are my favorite. No gym and just avoid crowds altogether.

My Mom said the grocery store was so packed yesterday that you couldn't really get in. Not worth it. We're ordering some groceries online now, including TP, but won't get delivered until Monday night or Tuesday morning.

We're actually all sick right now, sore throats and fatigue, which of course is unnerving a bit, but my daughter got a head cold on the trip (the kid is always sick since starting school) and I spent the last 4 days having her cough and hack boogies in my face non stop. So it's probably just whatever funk she has.

Avoid everything, seriously. Gym is crazy place to be right now, or restaurants.

I work from home these days since the company I work for sold the NOLA newspaper and web site (and the building I used to work in!). So business as usual for me so far.

Why do you read that kind of crap, Art? Seriously, I don't get it.

I agree 100%. The Missus has reluctantly agreed.

Me too. A great deal of my work revolves around my home office, so I'm just going to stick to what I always do.

The economy is going to get wrecked with this though.

Can't believe I'm online looking for TP. All sold out of course. We're down to one roll. Total bullshit.

I've lost a lot of money but it will be worth it when it dips below Obama levels.

I've been cash for a long time, sitting on the sidelines. I know you're not supposed to "time" the market, and I surely could have made more over the last few years. But I'm also not shitting my pants right now. I'll waiting for the same thing and will reenter pretty soon I'd imagine.

Although I hate the stock market. I'm focusing on real estate primarily until I'm old. At least I understand that and it's tangible.

MIL called us today, said it was urgent.

Turns out she thought we should go down to the bank and pull out 500 bucks. Not sure how that's going to help us in anyway. A run on the bank probably isn't the bests idea, we already see how that worked with toilet  paper.

Cuomo's speech today seemed dire. Stay safe TAP.

Trump gives himself 10/10 on this.

Thanks, it does seem dire with no good news from anywhere. Luckily we are all home at least.

1. If you have to shit, hold your shit to make sure you've maximizing your shit potential.

2. Shit.

3. Shower.

4. Probably need to clean the showers more.  Umm...there are still cleaning products and disinfectants, right?
