I thought I remembered it as such, but with programs as big as that I'm sure there are a lot of never-went fans. Which is fine...just curious.

We don't have a professional team, and it's the state's land grant college, so I guess that explains the support. College hoops is followed by pretty much everyone, here. Someone once said that "people don't even die when UK is playing", and you often hear about nasty divorce battles over who gets control of the season tickets.
I do find it strange when politicians, actors, and musicians with no connection to the state declare themselves as part of the Big Blue Nation, though.

Some programs are just a national draw, I suppose. I'm betting a lot of those actors and musicians also didn't go to college, so they get to choose their rooting interest.

Looks like Archie Miller has redeemed himself, tonight, with the win over Michigan State. Hopefully, it will shut up the haters, for a while(they can't fire him while still paying of Crean, anyway). I really think Miller was a good hire, and will bring the glory, and one day, we will again, continue the rivalry.

Archie's tenure ain't looking so good, right now. Rumors are circulating that Bill Self is going to pull a "pete carroll" and head to the pros(Chicago). If so, IU should hire a nobody, wait a year for Self to implode in the pros, then put out the cash and bring him to Bloomington. Make IU Great Again!

^^^ WTF, I thought you were an IU guy??? Agree though, and have much respect. While I absolutely hate Tennessee with a burning passion, I kind of like Barnes. Bet he won't be there, long... hahahaha
My father, wife, father in law went to IU; my grandfather went to Purdue.
I went to neither.
