I've only had a Manhattan once or twice in my life, mainly because my whisk(e)y is drunk either up or with cola (and NEVER that with really high quality booze). I'm sure I'd enjoy them, but I'd always be thinking...why am I adding vermouth to my whiskey?

Funny story...I was in Mexico on vacation this January (you know...BEFORE the fucking drug lords started putting decapitated heads in town squares and shit). We were at an all inclusive with a nice swim up pool bar, and I ordered a whiskey and coke. Crazy Mexican bartender made it with JOHNNY WALKER RED! Craziest whisk(e)y and coke I've ever had. Very distinct, peaty, smokey, Scotchy flavor.

Pretty much the only thing that I drink is 8+year Bourbon with a little water. ^^but, it depends. I drink the light stuff straight.

I spent Saturday at the bi-annual Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot, right outside of Louisville, Ky. Gun enthusiasts of all stripes were there — from the National Rifle Association and sportsmen to militia members to white supremacists and Obama birthers.





The sellers of this T-shirt reported that all three boxes of it had sold out by 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The blog post is misleading and biased. Out of all the vendors, there are 3 or 4 that sell that kind of propaganda. Too, the Nazi fucks are generally made fun of, and ridiculed, by most of the attendants.

The guy tries to present a "picture" that it is a bunch Nazis with machine guns, but it isn't. There are probably as many Democrats as Republicans in attendance.

I find it telling that out of all the thousands in attendance, he was only able to get a few pics, of a few people, that were extremists.

People with an agenda will eat this kind of shit up as a confirmation of their fears, but a rational assessment of the situation will demonstrate that those fears are unfounded... at least in regards to the shoot.
