Please, I wish I was just off. I lost my job and I believe it was due to my pregnancy. I spend my days now filing complaints with various agencies. Fun, I tell ya. When it snows, it's a blizzard, my friends.
That's just plain shitty.
Seems very 60's to be honest...
60's like age of aquarius? these people I worked for had no idea how to run a business. when i came in a year ago i tried to get them up to date and in compliance with the law---to no avail. so, yea, kinda like the 60's! my boss literally told me my pregnancy was an issue for her and when i 1st told her she looked at the calendar and said my due date interfered with her vacation. i called the ny division of human rights and repeated what she said to me and the lady told me to get online and file a complaint immediately.
as for the weather here. man it sucks. ice everywhere and i almost took a nasty tumble in a parking lot this eve.

I filed with the EEOC already and have to do the form for Human Rights and then get it notarized. Those were just a few of the things she said to me. I made sure to write it all out and send it to the Dept. of Labor too.
