I watched a little bit about this on Larry King. It didn't leave me feeling that O'Neil was cashing in on this at all, in fact quite the opposite. It came across as more of a way of dealing with the entire ordeal.

He wants to marry her before she passes as well because of his love for her. Nothing more he said recently. He has been devoted to her, especially since her being diagnosed. He has also shielded her from media.

guess he is making up for all the years he smacked her around...to me he just comes off as a hypocrite

Did he? Or was it his son? His troubled, sometimes drug-addicted son. As a parent, I can't say I'd do any different. As a famous parent, I'm sure that would be in the news. The only thing is, here, is that Farrah - no matter what their past relationship, is looking to him as her main support. This video documentary I think was her idea. My feeling is that he's promoting it based on what she wants. Like I really ever cared about Ryan O'Neal or Farrah Fawcett..............still, it becomes sort of heart wrenching in it's own way.

I didn't know it was anal cancer. God that sounds horrible. I haven't been following her struggle closely but I can't even imagine....

Yea I know, I wasn't aware of that until today. Some of the cancers people get....just ugh.
