I'm so glad this show wasn't on tv when I was an active drunk. That and youtube.

It's a depressing show. All I like is the end, I do like seeing people who make it through. Often times the transformation is amazing. But that's like the last 4 minutes of the show.

Oh man, did she have the craziest ass eyes ever...totally nuts on that shit. She was really mean too if I remember. There was another one with a set of twins who were anorexic, who were also the most mean spirited bitches I'd ever seen in my life.

I watch...it is sad...can be entertaining at times but mostly depressing...the last 4 minutes should be more though..maybe make a 20 minute segment on the success stories is my thought

That's a classic. Chick is crazy, and probably an out of this world fuck.

Would love to see an update on her.

hahaha, could you imagine shagging some crazy girl who would huff off a canister every few minutes? I'll never forget that crazy look in her eyes, she looked like a nutty cat or summin'.

I gotta youtube that episode. Haven't seen it in ages. Definitely a strange addiction. Out of all the drugs in the world, you choose THAT? I remember a scene where she goes to the store, buys cans of that shit, and just sits in her car in the parking lot inhaling that shit while heading to cloud nine. Bizarre. If you wanna do drugs, just do drugs. Fuck all this canned air, paint, and over the counter cold medicine shit. All that garbage will put you in a casket quicker than any real narcotic. I haven't watched many episodes of this series, but I do like it. Might throw some of these on my netflix queue. I remember one with this young, really fat dude. Shockingly, he had a girlfriend. She was chunky, but not that bad. Don't remember what his issue was, but I don't sympathize with the overeaters the way I do with drug addicts. Its much easier to not eat a 3 pound burrito than it is to stop taking drugs. Eat a pound of cabbage instead of five big macs=problem solved. Where you gonna find something to take the place of a vicodin high? You're not.
Surprise, surprise, surprise!

Until about 20 years ago, terpin hydrate cough syrup(or Robistussin AC) could be had over the counter. It had 8 grains of codeine on each 4oz bottle. Really, it was kind of OTC, it was kept behind the counter, and you had to specifically ask the pharmacist for it, and sign.

At least here in Canada, virtually all cough syrup is kept behind the counter now.
