#62698 Monica's Revenge: Lewinsky 'to Publish Secret Love Letters To Clinton...

Posted by Whistlers Momma on 06 October 2012 - 04:33 PM in News, Current Events, Politics

She might turn my head if she had love letters FROM Clinton but who knows how delusional she was when she wrote these letters? For all we know she just wrote them last year when an idea for a book was proposed. It think she got a raw deal from Linda Trip, Ken Starr, the general public and even Bill but this book isn't going to help her any if it's just filled with a school girl's kind of crush letters. (i.e. fiction) She'd need to come completely clean about that whole time frame including how Linda Trip used her and then betrayed her and with her own naivety at getting involved with a married man.

Interesting but deeply sad article when you think about how much the world has changed since Bush and Blair made the decision they did.

Anyone care to explain how waxing is "natural"?

I'm honestly shock that so many people think waxing (down there) looks better than natural. A guy closer to my age than yours once told us that after seeing one of those "bald-as-a-billard ball" women up close and personal he got so turned off he couldn't "do it"....reminded him too much of a little girl. It also amazes me that a hairy chest on a guy could go from a turn-on to a turn-off in my life time. When did that happen? And why did guys ever buy into such foolishness as waxing their chests?

#60972 Universal Healthcare

I hate that the right wingers can't accept it when they lose. They want us to fight the same crap over and over again.

LOL, is that sarcasm I hear?

Actually, it wasn't. The very first word out was that the mandate was ruled out under the commerce clause and then ten minutes later they announced, "Hold on! It is constitutional under the taxation powers clause." So it is a victory for Obama but when I posted above to Randall I had only heard the first part from CNN.

The ruling is out now and it should make you very happy, Randall.

In Colonial American the government mandated that each male over a certain age had to buy a gun, powder and other supplies and keep them handy in case they'd get called up to fight. How the Supreme Court rules could against this health care mandate is beyond me. There is precedent for mandates. But if they do rule against it, that will just renew the push for a single payer system of health care which is what most Democrats wanted in the first place. Half the people sighted in polls as being against the Obamacare think it didn't go far enough but the polls are written in such a way that those opinions are thrown in with those who don't want any kind of health care bill what so ever. No matter how the court rules, this fight isn't over.

#60892 Movies To See And Please No Spoilers.

I have actually never been to a drive in. We have one here in Tampa in it's a really shit part of town. I wouldn't walk around there at night, much less park my car there and hang out.

That's sad. Drive-ins were in their hay day when I was young. They were great for young families who wanted to bring a couple of young kids with them. Dress them in their PJ's and after the cartoons were over they'd be fast asleep in the back seat. I Just sold a drive-in movie speaker on e-Bay.

That bath salts stuff is nasty! A city near-by just made it illegal to sell in the stores and a TV newsman interviewed a guy who was hooked on it and he said he was glad they were making it illegal because it was so easy and cheap to get that it hook him harder than cocaine had.

One of the dad's did a long interview and he said that he was deeply embarrassed by his son's behavior and that this wasn't the kind of thing where he was just going to take some privileges away, said his son would be getting some counseling to work on his lack of empathy. He seemed very sincere.

Don't you just love it when the guys in power don't want to let women speak about issues they know more about than the men!!!! Doesn't surprise me here in MI where Republicans usually rule.

I have this new client who shoots down every home I send her to look at. She is super picky, yet has very limited options due to her many requirements. I sent her nearly 35 homes to look at, and said no to all of them, with the exception of 3 or 4 "maybes." Tonight she emails me asking if I can take her out this weekend and to show her homes. My question...which one? She's given me nothing to show.

You can take me out and show me some stuff instead. Show me a dog friendly condo community with universal design units...oh, and I don't want to pay more than $35,000 and I don't care if that's what the cost in 1960 as my agent you can dig a few up, can't you? And make that ocean view stuff since I'm flying down to FL to look at these properties. :D

He can hang whatever he wants if he'd stop taking tax exemptions for his "church" and outreach programs. It ticks me off that fanatical church leaders can get away with this stuff by hiding behind the constitution. You want the tax payer to support your "church" through a no taxation policy then don't get involved in politics!!!!

Jeez, it seems like there should be a less stressful way to buy and sell property. Maybe those countries that require all cash at closings aren't so weird after all.
