Interview today... Holy shit Lady made an offer I honestly cannot refuse. Gonna be tough saying goodbye to my patients and people I became friends with... but I'd be a fool to turn this shit down.

This new Job isn't the Jizz moper at the nudes booth is it?

I wish!

I don't know why I am having such a hard time making this decision though...

WAYYYYYY more money, more stability, better benefits................

I have always been too nice.... If i were just a bit more of an asshole, my life would be so much easier/better.

I put the concerns of others over my own way too much

I think people are losing site that Joe Paterno did NOT fuck these kids in the ass. he is NOT being charged with any crime whatsoever and we aren't SURE EXACTLY what he knew yet. People are so over reactionary these days.. they see a headline and read all sorts of shit into it without getting the entire truth. I try to wait and see before completely ripping someone apart. If he knew 100 percent for sure what was going on and did nothing... Seems he'd be charged.. The fact he isn't, makes me think he didn't fully know.

Thing is Paterno notified his supervisor of the complaint... Seems its then up to that person to follow through. Joe didn't eye witness it, so I'm not sure u can call 911 and say U "Heard" something happened. At that point, its someone's word against one of your friends u have full trust and belief in. If someone came to me right now and said my best friend was doing that... I prob wouldn't believe it for a second. I'm just saying, the way the media have come down on Joe Pa.. U would think he was the one doing the molesting... If he in fact covered it up and allowed others to be Victimized... HE WOULD BE GOING TO JAIL The fact he isnt even charged, makes me believe he followed the proper procedure/channels. He is the most famous, so people are trying their best to demonize someone with a distinguished career. If I hear otherwise, I'll change my tune... but until i get 100% facts about what Joe Pa absolutely knew... I'm not attacking him.

No offense, but you have a history of defending sports people/musicians who are accused of heinous crimes.

True but he didn't get charged with any crime.. The ones who did cover it up were charged.

I think the guy who saw it and didn't stop it or call the cops should be the one getting the brunt of the criticisms.... but he isn't famous or the face so he isn't.

Not necessarily defending Joe Pa's actions per se... but I think he is being treated as if he was the one doing the molesting.

Riddle me this Clouseau - supposing for one second you are correct. What happened after everyone followed correct procedure? In particular, what happened to the 28 year old who 'allegedly' saw the incident and reported it. He carried on being a junior coach, and everyone carried one as though he'd mistakenly seen and reported a senior coach raping a 10 year old and that was that. You seriously believe he would have kept his job for several years after that mistake?

I know the Sandusky guy did that in 98, was fired in 99........

So yeah, i think the higher ups protected the school and quietly dismissed the guy which is indefensible no doubt.

My defense is for Joe Paterno. I wanna know what he knew, how much he knew and if he really did nothing at all to stop it.. Then yes, he deserves to be fired and all that no doubt. I just wonder if he did, why he hasn't been charged like the others?

The Sandusky guy should get the fucking death penalty. It shouldn't be reserved for murderers.

Last update: I have decided to stay with my current company: I got a phone call from the main lady of the company that hired me, and she was practically in tears and begging me to give her a chance to do whatever it took to keep me. Told me how much everyone loved me and how they just could not let me go. So she asked for 24 hours to gather up some type of counter offer. Of course I wanted to hear what they had to say so I said sure: Only took 10 minutes till she called me back with a counter offer that alleviated every concern I had. back story: Right now, Im doing Per Visit Home Health. Basically If I make visits, I get paid.. If I don't, I make zero So, when Business is booming, I make great money HOWEVER, when business is low or I get a bunch of missed visits due to DR appointments etc.. My checks get low and i get stressed cause then i have a hard time paying bills etc. So anyway, She offered me a 40 hour per week Pay, where I get guaranteed money the same as if i saw 32 patients per week *Entire time I have worked here, I have hit 32 visits Maybe 8 times* So Even if i only have 20 visits that week, I still get paid like i saw 32. Anything i work over 40 hours is time and a half.. So they can't just load me down with as many as humanly possible for that pay. I LOVE working on Sats for extra money, So to make up the difference in pay from the other company's offer, She is gonna let me work however many Saturdays I want for time and a half an that almost matches other offer dollar for dollar. I'd be leaving a couple hundred on the table, but This is the only job I've ever been 100 percent happy at. I never dread going to work, Honestly haven't felt like I've worked a day. The benefits she told me not to worry about as they Did whtat they did just till the first of the year to see what the Medicare cuts were gonna be. So she told me the cuts were nowhere as bad as they feared, and for me not to worry that my gas mileage would not be effected and our benefits would be restored in full by first of the year. Also, With this company, I am the ONLY one covering 2 offices.... SO my job is 100 percent safe.. As there is no one else at my position. I definitely feel appreciated and not like a replaceable monkey. Her phone call meant so much to me, I absolutely didnt want to leave. The other company is a giant corporation, I would've been one of 14 other Therapist.... The last guy quit cause his visits dropped significantly and he was driving 150 miles per day.....I heard they were super picky about everything, documentation has to be perfect etc.. u are more micro managed. At my current job, takes me 5 minutes to do my documentation an I come and go as i please. Make my own schedule, really answer to nobody.. There, I would've been that nameless/faceless spoke on a wheel one of many Here i kinda have that big fish in a small pond thing going and I enjoy the security of knowing that. So yeah, added it all up, and I feel great about it.

Been a fantastic Thanksgiving. Just me,Joann an the dog and to be honest, that is alright with me! I love my family don't get me wrong, but was a pretty nice change just having us to cook for. I will definitely start doing this every year. I stayed very basic today, turkey breast, Dressing from scratch, mac and cheese, Those awesome Parker House Rolls an a Pumpkin Pie Next year, I am gonna add a couple dishes to it and try to do a dessert from scratch. My Mom makes this great Red Velvet Cake with home made Frosting.. gonna get the recipe and try it. I honestly was very pleased/shocked at how fun and not that much of a hassle cooking this was.

Glad you had fun starting your own tradition for the holiday. I did a pretty easy version of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, too. I cooked turkey legs in a clay pot---couldn't have been easier. I also had cranberries, twice loaded baked potatoes and pumpkin pie. No bad considering we already had our Thanksgiving last Sunday with family.

You should try a red velvet cake for Christmas.

Good Idea. I am definitely going home for Christmas and could get my Mom to show me how and help her then.

HAHAHAHA shoulda wore my Bon Jovi shirt LOL Jarmo seemed like he ran errands etc for the crew. I asked him if he ever saw Axl a lot etc.. he said every one in the band kind of stays to themselves etc and that everyone didn't really hang out etc. So, I honestly don't think he had the pull to hook me up. I prob shoulda asked though. Del James interrupted our convo to get Jarmo to go get something.
