I just randomly seem to have stumbled across a new McCartney show at Barclays (Brooklyn) in September and got tickets. Other than that we are seeing Queen/Adam Lambert in July, Deep Purple/Alice Cooper in August, GNR in October and Chris Rock in December.

I might go see Gin Blossoms at Santa Cruz beach boardwalk in August.
I'm definitely seeing Gin Blossoms. I had planned on going to the Boardwalk on the 16th but the Blossoms were on the 8th. I checked their website yesterday and the show got moved to the 16th.
I only like two songs from them so may skip most of the show and head to the beach for the encore.

Tears for Fears with Hall and Oates last night. Great show. I preferred T4F myself, although there was absolutely nothing wrong with Hall and Oates. I would also see T4F again, but not Oates (third time for T4F, second time for Oates.)

Queen with Adam Lambert last night were great - don't think they could have found a better person to front the band tbh. Not Freddie and did a nice self deprecating bit where he admits that - duh! Anyway, well worth it if you're a Queen fan at all. (And I saw then with Mercury.)

I'll be damned. I kinda wrote that off. I don't think they came here anyway.
Gov't Mule in a couple weeks...Deep Purple in a a month...and Bob Fuckin' Seger on Labor Day weekend.
For those who don't pray at the church of Mule:

Alice Cooper - A+...dude always brings it, and is entertaining as hell.
Deep Purple - C...Ian Gillen has lost a step or four in his vocals.
Bob Seger - A-...he still sounds like Bob on those records from Nineteen-Seventy-Whatever. One less new song and one more Katmandu would have earned full marks.

Agree about DP/AC. We took my 13 y/o and her friend because of DP - they bought AC shirts at the end. Kinda sad 'cos DP has always been my fav band, and Gillan my fav singer. But they should stop.

Hey, kudos to you if you're getting 13 year old girls into Alice Cooper.
Ha, we are training her early. It's not even the first time she's seen AC (though was Hollywood Vampires). Taking her to McCartney and then GNR in next couple of months.

That I remember she has seen: Robert Plant, Waterboys, Cheap Trick, Stone Roses, Janes Addiction, Hollywood Vampires, Heart/Joan Jett, Queen w/Adam Lambert (x2), 2 Cellos, Deep Purple/Alice Cooper plus the upcoming McCartney and GNR. Also seen Ricky Gervais and going to see Chris Rock. She's really spoiled! I didn't see my first gig until 14.
