anything by U2 or Van Halen

never been able to remotely like these bands.

I second that. With U2, the sound is so generic to me that it fully explains why they're able to remain successful for so long.

And VH I've always found to be incredibly overrated. Eddie's playing strikes me as soulless. Technical skill means nothing if you can't bend a note and make me feel it.
Sister burn the temple
And stand beneath the moon
The sound of the ocean is dead
It's just the echo of the blood in your head

Some killer riffage on this tune, Sir:

I don't own any of their albums, but anything by Radiohead makes me wonder why they're considered so god-like. I mean, I like Creep but apart from that, it just sounds like some moaning over an acoustic guitar to me. Yet, they're always getting called the most important band of the last 20 years and all this stuff. GENUINELY, WHAT DO PEOPLE LIKE ABOUT THEM?!?!

Don't give up on this album, Sir. So many outstanding ballads and rockers on there, it really is the Alternative version of Use Your Illusion.
