Sons of Anarchy's really good. I don't think it's quite top tier, but I prefer it to a lot of the stuff I would put in that top category (Mad Men, West Wing etc.) Reminds me of Oz. It's got its flaws, but it's so much fun, you can easily forgive. Season three was hit and miss, but the last episode was fucking stunning, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next. At the moment I'm working my way through the first series of The Thick of It, season five of The Shield, and getting very excited about the start of Game of Thrones this weekend.

Did you guys ever watch Party of Five? I'm rewatching it on Netflix, that was a damn good show....so far, I'm only on episode like 8.

Based on the first 3 seasons I would consider it one of the greatest TV shows ever made. Season 4 is ok but 5 is a complete disaster and when 6 started I was just begging for quick closure.
Surprise, surprise, surprise!

Game of Thrones is based on that book series you guys were talking about in the book thread, right or am I mixing it up with something else? Don't get HBO any more, but will download it if reviews are good. Who's showing it over there?

I was like that with Dawson's Creek, the first season was really good. Then, they got a new writer & you could totally tell in season 2 I believe it was. Netflix can bite me, they only offer Season 1 of Party of Five. Now what the hell am I going to do? I'm still only on disc 4 for season 1, one more disc after this. And yes, the show is so damn good, every episode. They haven't lapsed once yet.

Yeah, that's right. Sky Atlantic's showing it in the UK, but I'm on Virgin and they don't have that channel, so I'm downloading it.

First episode was good, and apparently it gets much better. Looking forward to next week.

While it's shit quality, you can watch the entire series on youtube.

Only the first three seasons were released on DVD. Strange that Netflix never picked up the other two.

Anyone remember Profiler or The Pretender? Those were some dope shows.

I had to sign up on Blockbuster.com to get seasons 2 & 3. I feel like a traitor towards Netflix. Now I've got dual places sending me dvd's, I'll be up to my neck in dvd's for the next month. Anyway, blockbuster truly sucks, no wonder they went bankrupt. They've got some weird lock thingie that tells you the discs come as a set but then they don't send you the discs in order, you have to break it in order to get sequential order of discs. Huh???? Plus, they have the incorrect disc length on the sleeve AND they don't tell you what year it came out. Isn't that like a basic thing on dvd sleeves? I hate blockbuster.

Oh yeah, this weekend I watched Out of the Wild: The Alaska Experiment. A reality show that plopped 9 people in Talkeetna, AK & they had to trek 60 miles to their destination, finding & hunting for their own food, water, making shelters. It's totally something I want to do. I'm so out of shape, I'd collapse the first day but it'd be an awesome experience.

Episode 2 of Game of Thrones was really great. If anyone's not on it already, they should definitely check it out. Think it could end up a really big show.

I hate Blockbuster with a passion but if its the only way to watch DVD quality Party of Five, I don't blame you for dancing with the devil.

Every now and then you'll see petitions pop up for the rest of the series to be released. Since you're an obvious fan you should sign it.

Season 2 is fucking great. If you thought you were hooked on season 1, you may need an intervention after watching season 2. Posted Image

I watched disc 1 of season 2 & then had to watch disc 1 of season 3 because that's what Blockbuster sent me, two separate seasons. Fucking idiots. Anyway, I can't believe I barely remember these episodes, it wasn't that long ago this show came out.

I was surfing on Showtime and came across the new show Gigolos. Has anyone seen it? It's pretty much just reality porn. I was amazed how these people are okay doing the nasty in a reality show. Oh, yeah, and the guys are S.T.U.P.I.D!
