I'm interested to see how it plays out. The Governor has way more people and is fortified. I'd like to see Rick really do this tactically and come in through the sewers with coordinated explosions to create chaos and panic to funnel people into a centralized spot. Once there he can take charge and calm them down, with other well positioned to take out any possible threats that may arise. Meanwhile someone takes out the governor right before the bombs go off. I haven't read the comics, so I have no idea how it plays out. But it should be interesting.

The comics aren't really much of a guide anyway. Dale makes it past the prison, Andrea never goes to Woodbury, Daryl and Merle don't even exist

i started rewatching the first season last night too. The very beginning of that first episode, where he shoots the little girl? Now that's how you start a show!

I realize I'm too obsessed w/this show because I'm starting to panic about it ending. I know, there's still a fourth season but who knows how long it can go? It's going to be awful when it ends.

I'm sure it will go to at least season 5, it's hugely popular. And the source material is there in comics for several more seasons so writer burnout is less of an issue.

i bet he does. Or, maybe the writers need a new storyline because the fans are sick of the governor. Not to mention what he did to Merle. The fans will never forgive him for that. I'm very antsy & scared for this finale, I can think of a couple characters that might bite it Sunday night.

I think they will kill him off and start a new story arc for s4, but could be wrong. Maybe it will be ambiguous so they have option to bring him back sometime in future. Think casualty list might be quite long. I'm sure Rick and Carl will make it, other than that could be anyone really though some more likely than others. Would be annoyed if Michonne or Daryl die. Think Carol, Herschel, youngest daughter and baby are most likely deaths. Assume Tyreese makes it otherwise what was the point.

Anyway, we probably had this discussion last season - but writers need to find balance between it being a dangerous world and killing off so many characters that people lose interest.

Yeah, why is that blonde chick still there, she's pointless. Herschel will probably get it, this last episode w/giving his blessing was kind of a tip-off. Daryl stays, he's the only one I care about.
