I still think you should try and find some of your own work. Maybe start two days a week doing your own thing and work for somebody else at the same time. Just be brave and go for it.

When i took my car to get clutch fixed.. mechanic had a sister who needed therapy but had no insurance.... I started to trade him therapy visits for free car work

thing is.. I don't know how legal that is... cause Independently, if someone fell or what have u.. I'd lose my license and get sued. I'm supposed to work under a Doctor of Physical Therapy... So I am not exactly sure. I got another lady who is willing to pay me to come once Medicare stops paying her Mom's.

Hmmm...I guess see what the state licensing board says in regards to how you may practice. Then find out required liability insurance before really making a move if required. Anybody can sue you regardless of what you do in this country, lol. If you can only work under a doctor (and then they probably cover liability) then look for doctors to work under two days a week. The thing is you already know what they charge vs what they pay you. Give yourself a raise and undercut the competition. Doing just a couple of days will help you get your "legs" without being overbearing. In the meantime make up your mind who will employ you the rest of the week. Also when looking for a job I always had the frame of mind that I was interviewing them (I do the same thing with my clients now) not the other way around.

Congratulations! Sounds like a good career move and you know the clients you see will have the same kinds of needs no matter who employees you as an in home therapist.

D, just put in your two weeks notice and quit driveling. Seriously, you don't need to tell them all that. You're saying how much you loved it, there, but you're still going to leave. Give them your two weeks notice - I'm leaving in two weeks. Thank you for the opportunity to work here. No explanation needed.

Yes, short and simple. You're not breaking up with your GF.
