MISSION: The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.

It is tyranny indeed! How horrible! Look how oppressed that old bag is out there on the street, she must have broken out of one of the FEMA camps to protest that day. I'm sure they've dragged her back by now.

Yeah but it was 30 years ago and there were also 3 things included. Reduce government spending, (Reduce income and capital gains marginal tax rates), Reduce government regulation of the economy, & Control the money supply to reduce inflation. This has been an argument that has been brought up before but the other parts of his 4 pillars are always left out..Just keepin thing on an even keel.Teabag hysteria
The best part was the look on the guys face when the cameraman informed him of Raygun's capital tax rate vs Obama's.
You never ask a navy man if he'll have another drink, because it's nobody's goddamned business how much he's had already.

I don't know if this has been posted before; if it has, it bears repeating:

Every time I think of the tea party, I find it important to remember that it's a contrived movement. This wasn't a reaction to Obama's policies. These protests started within a couple weeks of him being inaugurated. In other words, after fucking up the program for eight years, the right immediately begins protesting when the other side wins. I think it's fair to say that many only believe in democracy when it leads to them getting their values in government.

And stand beneath the moon

This is hilarious:
Do some really worry that there are gangs of Asian kids, running around and pulling plugs? You sit there, worrying about someone's deteriorating condition and suffering, when the doc comes in and say "Problem solved! Youth in Asia took care of it! You're off the hook!"
