Huge Living Colour fan here. Hope to see them again one day. Dude has the pipes for sure. He has great solo stuff and is in multiple side bands too. 

55+ communities actually have a lot of amenities and if you want to make friends it's easy to do. I notice that very few people are in their late 50s though. Most seem to be around 70+ . I still don't think I would do one when I'm older, but you never know.

Just standing in front of some random drawer or cabinet wondering "why the fuck am I here?"...happens all the time.  But if I stare into the void long enough, I often remember. 

 

It wasn't this way before kids.

I remember once I leave that room and go into another. Then return to the drawer and forget again. Round and round I go like a total moron...

Yet I can remember 99% of the lyrics from Licensed to Ill. Pistol packing, monkey drinking, no money bum!

I didn't do it, again. I start doing something else, forget about it, and the next thing you know, it's midnight already. One of these days, though, I'm going to do it.

It's bat shit crazy we finally got The General and Soul Monster.

It's surreal listening to them.

Soul Monster is killer.

I hated The General at first but started warming up to it. Definitely not what I was expecting for 20+ years.

Now we just need Oklahoma/Berlin and Seven.

I'll consider that closure even though there's still a handful of songs remaining.

Monster is a fun track. I especially like the part around 2:30. Reminds me a little of White Zombie to be honest. Then Axl kicks in. 

I don't know how anybody could like The General, blah. It sounds like too early of a demo to assess fairly though. I just see it as that. It's nowhere near a finished song. 

It doesn't seem like a coincidence that these were leaked right after The General was not released the other day. haha. This whole thing is very 2004-2006 to me. Kinda love it.
