Maybe he is a little prick, I don't know, but I think two things: (1) He's another teen star (just turned 20) who's going through what may be sort of normal angst as one transitions from teen to adulthood and it's publicized everywhere and made bigger than life just because he's famous and/or (2) Is it partly publicity ploy, too? I mean, I'm sure he certainly wants to find a way to try to keep himself relevant and not just yesterday's kiddie pop idle. Maybe he has a "great" publicist who's helping this along.

I've seen this before, or something similar. I think John Mellencamp may have been in the episode.

It's a looong story. She was actually my high school girlfriend, I went off to university in Toronto and she ended up moving to Toronto for college and we hooked up again but lost track of each other after she went broke and had to move back home (but I never really got over her). I moved back home after teachers college this summer and literally in my first 10 minutes out at the bars I bump into her and we pick up right where we left off. Things were going beautifully for a few weeks and then she says things are getting too serious and completely bails and stops answering my texts.

 

Literally just as I manage to put myself back together and have moved on with someone new she starts texting me out of the blue. I feel bad because I told her I'd always be there but I don't think I can live up to that as I'm seriously interested in this new girl. This new girl is also 5 years older than me and has a 2 year old kid which is refreshing as I've only ever been with girls my age or younger, and never with kids. It could be quite rewarding and a natural fit as well due to all the kindergarten supply work I've been doing lately.

I think the gist of it is that the Democrats are unsure how to deal with him at this point. He doesn't fit the Romney template. I think he is going to be a strong contender in the primaries. Considering the track record of the establishment GOP presidential candidates the non-establishment GOP primary voters will want someone to beat Bush. Walker has won some tough fights and he gets things through against serious opposition. This will appeal to the Tea Party wing.  

He doesn't have serious opposition. The state senate & the assembly are republican majority & have been since he won office. They've all been sucking each others dicks since 2010.

I'm sorry, but Obama has been entirely antagonistic in this regard.  You won't be able to find the same issues coming from Bush from 2000-2006.  You can't do that.  Obama and the DNC rammed Obamacare through Congress in the sleaziest move in congressional history.  Did you not think the GOP was going to retaliate for that?  The GOP is going to win this year and it will be entirely up to Obama on whether or not he's a lame duck.  I just hope the GOP doesn't continue this nonsense of removing the filibuster.  If the GOP does something stupid, the DNC should be able to stop them in the Senate.  Ginsburg better step down now, cause this is her last chance to retire and get another liberal justice in her place.
