I haven't been following this issue at all and have no idea what its basis is, but I can say, definitively, that the guys with cameras had absolutely the same right to be there as the others and that you can't claim privacy when you're camping out on public property.  The notion that you can both be in public protesting and ALSO claim privacy is among the dumbest fucking things I've ever heard...and that's from someone who thinks privacy is incredibly important and that we take it for granted far too often.

I guess I just don't get what this is about.  Is there racism on campus?  Apparently.  Should we be surprised that there are racists in Missouri?  I'm certainly not.  Is a university admin responsible for the racism of all people on campus?  I can't imagine why.  The only thing I would focus on here is that the admins let this get out of control.

I'm not really following any of this, but I do like seeing two dooshers arrested for making anonymous threats. I'd hope this happens more in the future.
