I'd still love to see a prequel dealing with Darth Plagueis and the Emperor, or perhaps The Adventures of Greedo.

How about The Space Slug's 1001 Favorite Recipes, featuring Millennium Falcon Tartar and a whole chapter on how to prepare your recently dead Rancor.

Odd, I see it not as racial but as an inherent flaw of market economics, which is that consumers are fucking dumb.

I'll take that as a compliment.

Just saw Rogue One. Remember, when you buy butter products, the cost includes me seeing this film for free. Yay, capitalism!

SPOILER FREE ROGUE ONE REVIEW FROM ME, FREEDOM-FUCKING-78:
OK, you remember back a few years when suddenly James Bond was darker, tougher, and grittier? Some didn't like it, but many loved the change of direction. This, to me, is the Star Wars version of the transition of James Bond from Pierce Brosnan to Daniel Craig. The movie is dirty and tough. Good and evil aren't quite as clear cut as in former films, though still pretty clear most of the time. We get to see the Empire being fairly brutal. We get to see the rebellion being feisty and divided. I liked all of that.
They also did a good job of connecting it to both A New Hope and to the prequels, without it feeling like it it was the "fourth prequel" or something like that. It's good as a stand-alone in many ways. I didn't go in expecting connections to the other films in any serious way, so what ones there were made for nice surprises.
Also, big points for however the hell the did Grand Moff Tarkin. Dude looked like Peter Cushing, sounded like him. That sort of casually snobby voice when he says "You may fire when ready", as he's about to murder thousands to millions is fantastic.
Anyway, I really liked this film. I think it's better than Force Awakens, though it didnt have to live up to such high expectations.

I'm gonna try to see this Monday. First film since Episode I I haven't seen on opening night. I have zero expectations for any of these solo films, so yours and other positive reviews I've heard give me hope these can be awesome.
