^^^ The Girl Who Played With Fire - better than the first one, Lisbeth Salander is an awesome character. Third one isn't published in the US yet for some reason.

England's Dreaming - Jon Savage. A history of the Sex Pistols and punk rock, but written as a real history and not sensationalist.

Just started 'the girl with the dragon tattoo' which has got a lot of positive reviews.

Just finished this today, and really enjoyed it. Nicely paced, with mystery, intrigue and plot twists but without losing believability, and really well written characters.

You should reply to yourself more often, maybe even start your very own thread....

I've been reading The Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon for about eight months. I think it's great, but for some reason, it's really not gripped me in the 'can't put this down' way. I must've read about eight other books since I first picked it up, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few more before I'm done with it.
