Joe Walsh to primary Trump 

 

The Mooch has said they are also working behind the scenes to come forward with another Republican to also primary him.

^^^ This might be the election that sees him defeated. He is disliked even among Republicans in the state, and Amy McGrath, while making a few blunders(mostly appealing to Trumptards), is respected for her service as a Marine aviator. There is also a lot of speculation that Matt Jones will enter the race to challenge McGrath for the Democratic nomination.

 

Jones has very popular sports radio show(Kentucky Sports Radio) that airs daily across the state. He is a rabid UK fan(Go Big Blue!), hates Louisville, and was one of the biggest critics of Rick Pitino and James Ramsey(U of L former president) sounding the alarm long before they were caught. He is also Duke Law grad which would normally would sink his chances(we hate Duke almost as much as Louisville, here), but as a student he bravely wore UK jerseys on the Duke campus(if you are unaware, basketball is pretty much a religion in Kentucky- no shit, it's serious business).

 

 

 

Remarkably, many Louisville fans have even declared that they will vote for Jones over McConnell.

In 2014, Allison Grimes was polling within the margin of error of defeating McConnell, so he did a media blitz labeling her as anti-coal, and it worked(Kentucky is a major coal producer, or it used to be). He won by 9 points.

 

McGrath has challenged him as anti-coal miner, this time.

Cannot imagine a scenario where a state with U.S. Senate Majority leader would vote them out of office barring some beyond the pale scandal.
