So, bank account says that £72 was taken out for a ticket to see Slash in October I bought earlier, e-mail from the ticket company I received about half an hour after buying it says they couldn't process my transaction. Which is it, motherfuckers??

Um, surely if everything went back to 'square one', things would develop pretty much as they did the first time round, with stories, religions, beliefs etc. being developed, followed by scientific discovery? What do these 'witty' caption-writers think people are going to be believeing in these hypothetical "few thousand years"??

Thanks! It seems so yes. I don't know what horrors await out there.... At least I have no debts to pay off since we get our tuition fees paid for us in Scotland.

This being Scotland, naturally it was pissing down with rain on graduation day. That dampened things a bit, literaly and figuratively, since no one really wants to hang around and talk with each other or whatever. It's weird that you're basically sitting there waiting for your ten seconds of fame while you walk across the stage haha. Anyway I guess I'm officialy no longer a student for the first time in about 17 years. I suppose I've to look for a job now?

Indeed. But you may notice I made my bold prediction, and later that day, Axl put out that latter. I foretold it.

I think it's bull' that Matt gets inducted but not Gilby.

I can understand Matt going in since he played on the UYIs, while Gilby only played on TSI?. Guess Gilby did play the majority of the UYI Tour, but then he was just playing songs he hadn't written (not a knock on him, he seems cool).

The thread about Axl's letter has already gone over 30 pages at HTGTH. I'm thinking it probably goes something like:


Poster 1: FUCK YEAH, ROCK N ROLL
Poster 2: HE'S A TURE RAWK STAR
Poster 3: Damn, I wish he would've been there

Seriously though, I do wonder how all the people who are praising him for this would've reacted if he'd Tweeted that he'd be there or whatever. They'd probably have been pouring love upon him for agreeing to be there with the old guys...

I'm a bit of a VH n00b too, though I do own three albums (debut, Woman And Children First and 1984) and intend to buy more at some point (namely Fair Warning and Diver Down). Could This Be Magic? from WACF is a quality song.
