Great article. Reflects many of my own feelings that I've had over the last year.
I have family parties every year at my house -my siblings, nieces &nephews and their families, my own son, etc. Usually a bonfire in May and then Christmas. I already put the bonfire off in the spring, thinking I could do it in September, but at this point it doesn't look like it's going to happen (having a co-worker die from Covid last week and then someone in the same office as I am getting Covid even after being vaccinated - she's doing fine - convinced me that it's STILL too soon). I have had serious thoughts, however, about still having the parties but telling people they can only come if they've been vaccinated - because why should the rest of us who have taken this seriously all along and been vaccinated have to miss out on things just because of the deniers and "you can't make me" people? As much as I would like to, I can't quite bring myself to do it.....yet, anyway.

So stupid. Makes me wonder why doctors and nurses have even bothered wearing them all these years, you know, if they don't work. So tired of people's ignorance and stupidity, but especially President Trump's.
